Butchr Bar is an Australian butchery concept that operates as a contemporary meat-focused eatery by night. The project began as a raw, unprogrammed shell in Echo Park, Los Angeles, which allowed us to apply a restrained and intentional design response.

A soft pink envelope sets an unexpected tonal warmth throughout the interior, anchored by a 35 foot monolithic concrete bar that provides a strong spatial spine and focal point. The palette balances utilitarian robustness with a playful Australian sensibility, creating an atmosphere that is both grounded and inviting.

While the space may initially read as a refined natural wine bar, the culinary program affirms a deeper identity. The offering places equal value on provenance, technique and craft. House cured charcuterie, including lamb speck and boar salami, and precisely grilled lamb sausages that release an audible pop when cut, reflect the commitment to produce and process. The result is a venue where design, meat and natural wine coexist with clarity and intention.
